From the SWAC Pack
Keith Ellison and his ties to Hamas. A good try, but first, the ties mentioned are unconvincingly weak (CAIR contributes to the campaigns of many Democrats, not just Ellison), and second, who are we to overturn the judgment of 56% of the people of Minnesota's 5th District? I have to think that Ellison's opponents must have mentioned these same points during the campaign at some point.
Bonus: Where's the MSM on positive Bush acts? I'm no fan of the media either, but what is being advocated here is basically wartime propaganda, which is not only disingenuous but probably would not be very successful today since everyone has ready access to different media sources (as opposed to the 1940s). Also, there is a rather unbelievable implication here that making some phone calls to soldiers equates to a "success" in Iraq.
From On High
Thought For The Day. The hypocrisy noted here would only be "odd" if we'd been seeing people protesting against Congressmen swearing in on the Bible. (And if anyone has, they were wrong to do so.) As if that weren't enough, somewhere in From On High's incomprehensible comment system, Jerry Furhman inexplicably proclaimed, "Keith Ellison...should be in prison rather than walking the halls of Congress..." Um, okay, sure.
