Perusing the Virginia blogosphere today, I made an amusing observation about the state of political blogging.
A couple of years ago, a lot of political bloggers would simply cut-and-paste a big chunk of text out of some newspaper article they found on the Internet, preface it with something like, "This is neato," and call it an insightful blog post. (Actually, some still do.)
Today, a lot of political bloggers simply cut-and-paste video embeds from some video site they found on the Internet, don't even bother writing a preface at all, and call it a blog post.
